Have been watching numerous preview shows and thought I’d put up 4 of the horses that seem to have had decent mentions from several panel members across them.

Race/horse/best price

Boodles - Bad - 11/1
Albert - Three card brag - 7/1
Ballymore - impaire et passé - 2/1
Stayers - Home by the Lee 6/1

One I fancy at a big price is in the pertemps GREEN BOOK 25/1.

This is a hard race to pick the winner of as rarely know how good a horse is due to the qualifying for the race, however feel Green Book ticks a lot of the boxes and is currently overpriced at 25/1 particularly if you look at his form and previous runs and race entries as very similar to that of last years winner.

Pertemps, wow you must have more money than sense.I wouldn't bet in it myself, but I've heard a whisper for the jonjo O'Neil horse,An autillair. It's spelt something like that.Good luck youll need it backing in the pertemps.

@Igotoneforu thanks for your "supportive" post have you actually read YOUR post you criticise poster for suggesting a horse in Pertemps then YOU put up a tip. double standards pal
But this forum is open to ALL
Over the past 3 years we have been lucky to make a profit from Cheltenham no mean achievement, thanks to a combination of knowledgeable posters, good luck and strategic betting, eg in big field races like the Pertemps we bet each way with bookmakers offering extra places and this has seen us come out in profit

The horse you mentioned has been napped by Paul Kealy in the race with this his comments:

“Finished a close third in the qualifier won by Shoot First and, like the winner and fourth-placed Salvador Ziggy, he hasn’t raced since to protect his mark.

He is the biggest price of the trio for the Pertemps Final, largely because he’s trained in Britain and not Ireland, but trainer Jonjo O’Neill has won the race four times, which is more than anyone else.

An Tailliur has never been out of the first three when competing in handicap company and should run a big race again.”

Really hard race to pick the winner of it and not a race I’d suggest a nap in, however will look at this horse and as Ed says with more places on offer may be worth adding a few strings to our bow in a notoriously difficult race to pick the winner of due to the qualifying criteria and most horses not showing their true potential until the day

Gingerdan yes in these big race fields the extra places do make a difference, eg in the Ultima Skybet pay 8 places and I suspect Pertemps will go to 6/7 places (5 just now)
What I disliked about original post was that he was trying to make himself look big at another poster's expense.
This forum has been built on trust and respect over last 3 years I have edited it and I welcome EVERY tip, there is no such thing as a bad tip if put up in good faith.
If we all work together and pool our racing knowledge, hopefully, we can have a profitable Cheltenham.

Agree Ed, it did seem odd to mock a tip but then suggest a horse in the same race.

However everyone’s different.

I’m looking forward to the week and looking forward to what gets tipped by others and then deciding if I’ll back them.

I’m sure that between us in here we’ll have a few winners. Best races with all the horses going there to win which makes it such a great meeting.
