Do you think Townend's time is up, Tim? He switched Faugheen inside then outside, loosing race winning ground. Bizarre decision making. I heard Matt Chapman saying he screamed out after he crossed the line. He knows he has had a nightmare there.

Great finish though. Fair play to Samcro.

@jeremy all us punters moan when our horse gets beat and blame the poor jockey, Faugheen at 12 tried his very best all 3 horses at the finish made it a great spectacle.
Hope you have some winners today.

I think his own mistake at the fence cost him his place. As soon as he fell back a little, Davy Russell moved right across beside Melon, leaving Faugheen in a pocket. Don't know if you can really blame Townend. The horse gave his all, but he's 12 years old. I don't think he was getting past the front two, even without the mistake.

So are you telling us we can't make a comment on a race or jockey on a site for racing tips, opinions etc. lol? No problem mate. Enjoy talking to the echo.

Having watched quite a lot of the races one jockey in particular stands out as a great rider and that’s Barry Geraghty- really cool and composed and gives the horse a great chance at the fences.

Conversely Harry Cobden has gone down in my estimation- this is not me talking out of my pocket but he just too me doesn’t ride that well, several times in the chases he doesn’t look convincing when jumping and he doesn’t exude confidence.
